Abstract

1,075,928. Dry shavers. SCHICK ELECTRIC Inc. Aug. 11, 1965 [Jan. 6, 1965], No. 34450/65. Heading B4B. [Also in Division B8] A moulded plastics case to house the motor and form the handle of an electric shaver, is formed from two halves 11, 12, the edges of which may be lap joined, and the bottom end walls 14, 15 of which are interlocked. The wall 15 has moulded integrally with it two locking elements 20, 21 projecting beyond the edge of the wall and carrying hooks 23, 24 which are received in recesses 25, 26 in the inner face 22 of the end wall 14. Disengagement of the hooks by applying pressure to end wall 15 is prevented by a keeper element 30 moulded integrally with the case half 11 and overlying the portion 31 of end wall 15. The upper ends of the case halves may be held together by spring clips (37), Fig. 7 (not shown).
