107,279. Neville, H. S., Trinder, W. E., and Osborne, H. G. July 21, 1916. Road traffic signals on vehicles. - An appliance for signalling or indicating when a road vehicle is about to turn consists of a pivoted arm A fitted with a lamp &c. D. The arm is normally held against the body of the vehicle by a spring catch G. When the catch is released, the arm swings outwards under the action of a coiled spring B and a contact is completed with a spring J, so lighting the lamp. The current may be supplied from a battery L or other source; the arm is returned by means of a cord M.
