Abstract

1,071,890. Vehicle body discharge means. MILSHAW TIPPING GEAR CO. Ltd. Jan. 17, 1966 [Oct. 17, 1964], No. 42446/64. Heading B8E. A vehicle body having a bottom 1 and side walls 2 is provided with endless conveyer bands or lattices 4 vertically arranged on each side. The conveyers pass round pulleys 6, 7 one at least of which is driven and are supported by rollers 4A while the outer run may be enclosed in an outer wall 2A. A bulkhead 9 running on rails 10 and traversable rearwards by a cable 11 driven by a drum 12 may also be provided. The conveyers may be powered from a take-off of the engine or by separate power means and are controlled independently. An auxiliary power-driven conveyer band 14 whose frame 15 is adjustable in angle relative to the vehicle body may be provided. A power-driven endless conveyer may be associated with the floor of the body.
