A vehicle for transporting glass sheets has a frame 11 provided with longitudinal padded battens 16 and a foot member 14 against which the glass is supported and held by an adjustable member 22 provided with support pads 28. With the fixed pin 21 on the member 22 engaged with a suitable hole in the retractable upper support 18 the lower pin 25 is raised against its return spring by the handle 32, thus enabling the pin 25 to be inserted in a suitable hole in the foot support.
