Abstract
1,068,167. Air springs. TOYO GOMU KOGYO KABUSHIKI KAISHA (Toyo Rubber Industry Co. Ltd.). Dec. 17, 1963 [Dec. 27, 1962], No. 49832/63. Heading F2S. An air spring assembly comprises an air spring 10 connected to an air chamber 13 by a pipe 12, the pipe being arranged in the air chamber. The air column in the pipe is supported by the air spring and the elasticity of the air in the air chamber whereby an auxiliary vibration system is formed. In the construction shown the air spring 10 is provided with a variable throttle device 11, including inlet and outlet valves mounted i'n a pan-like part 15.
