Abstract

1,064,931. Transistor oscillator circuits. INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES CORPORATION. April 3, 1964 [April 3, 1963], No. 13905/64. Heading H3T. In a multivibrator comprising transistors T1, T2, the effect of temperature on frequency is reduced by the use of auxiliary transistors T<SP>1</SP> 1 , T<SP>1</SP> 2 in the collector circuits. The conductivity of T<SP>1</SP> 1 , T<SP>1</SP> 2 is controlled by the main transistors T1, T2 so that T<SP>1</SP> 1 , T<SP>1</SP> 2 become conductive only when its respective main transistor T1, T2 is blocked. Capacitors C 1 , C 2 recharge via the auxiliary transistors T<SP>1</SP> 1 , T<SP>1</SP> 2 thus permitting low resistance base circuits to be used with consequent reduction in the thermal effect on base leakage current.
