Abstract

1,063,122. Panelled structures. NATIONAL DISTILLERS & CHEMICAL CORPORATION. May 12, 1964 [May 28, 1963], No. 19777/64. Heading E1W. Lightweight metallic panelling for roofs, awnings or facings, comprises C-sectioned panel members 20 clipped over projections formed along both up-turned flanges of parallel channelsectioned stringer beams 11, 11', the projections being spaced apart so that adjacent panel members are contiguous. Transverse channel-sectioned members 30 may be employed under the joints between the panel members, to act as rainwater channels, and adjacent, axially aligned members 30 may have a space left between them where they meet within the flanges of a stringer member, so that the water may flow along the stringer member also, (Fig. 1b not shown).
