Abstract
1,061,974. Transistor limiter circuits. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. Ltd., and J. GRANT. April 13, 1964 [March 13, 1963], No. 9958/63. Heading H3T. A push-pull long-tail pair type transistor amplifier having a constant current transistor arranged as the " tail " resistor is driven by an A.C. input signal source connected between the bases so that the transistors cut-off and an amplitude limited signal is produced at the collectors. Capacitive or transformer input coupling may be provided and a number of stages may be connected in cascade.
