Abstract

1,059,723. Visible signalling apparatus. JOSEPH LUCAS (INDUSTRIES) Ltd. June 9, 1964 [June 27, 1963], No. 25573/63. Heading G4F. [Also in Division H3] A flushing lamp circuit comprises a transistor having a lamp in its emitter collector circuit and a temperature sensitive resistor in the base-bias circuit, the arrangement being such that current flow in the emitter-collector circuit heats the resistor to such a temperature that the transistor is cut-off. The resistor then cools down so that the transistor again becomes conductive. The resistor may be heated by incorporating it in the transistor structure, or by the heat developed in a resistor in the collector-emitter circuit.
