Abstract
Cement compositions comprise cement (preferably Portland), sand, and chopped strand glass fibre, e.g. of 1/2 -inch length, and may also contain polyvinyl acetate to provide a gauging solution when the compositions are mixed with water. The compositions are used to make concrete articles in moulds by mixing with water to form a fibrous mass, covering the inside of a mould, e.g. to a thickness of 1/2 inch, taking up excess water by applying small quantities of dry cement-sand mixture to form a layer on the glass-fibre reinforced mix, and then compacting the combined layers.
