1057216 Meal serving apparatus Y TRICAULT 30 July 1965 [3 Aug 1964 30 Oct 1964] 32725/65 Heading A4T [Also in Divisions B7 and F4] In order to warm cooked food, which has been allowed to cool, without loss of flavour, the food is covered by a dish cover (6) on a plate (5) and the assembly heated from above and below by infrared heaters 7. The cover (6) is permeable to the radiation and is heated to a higher temperature than that of the food to prevent condensation of the food juices from forming within it. Modified food containers are described, Fig.2 (not shown). Plates may be carried on grids 3 on a trolley, Fig. 5. When the food is to be heated, the trolley is coadunated with a box 35 containing infrared heaters 7 arranged, in this position, Fig. 6 (not shown), to lie between the grids 3.
