Abstract
1,057,189. Linkwork; hydraulic transmission of power. RECHERCHES ETUDES PRODUCTION R.E.P. Aug. 4, 1964 [July 19, 1963], No. 30587/64. Headings F2C, F2D and F2K. The swashplate axles 19, 24 of a variable displacement pump 17 and motor 22, together forming a hydrostatic transmission, have integral arms 26, 27 interconnected for composite movement or individual movement by links 29, 33 and a lever 31, the lever 31 and arm 26 being actuated by double-acting hydraulic jacks 44, 41 and 38. With jack 38 fixed, so that pump swashplate 18 is also fixed, actuation of either jack 44 or 41 with the other free moves the motor swashplate 23. With jack 44 fixed, actuation of either jack 38 or 41 with the other free moves the swashplates 18, 23 simultaneously. With jack 41 blocked so that motor swashplate 23 is fixed, actuation of either jack 38 or 44 with the other free moves the pump swashplate 18. The jacks 38, 44 or 41 may be replaced by screw members controlled electrically or electrohydraulically.
