Abstract
1,055,415. Double glazing. C. P. F. JONES. Oct. 8, 1965 [Oct. 16, 1964], No. 41824/64. Heading E1R. To compensate for increased pressure within the sealed space 2 of a double glazed window, due to increased ambient temperature and to eliminate damage to the sealing joints caused thereby, the space 2 communicates through a conduit 5 with an expansion chamber 6 which can expand and contract in accordance with the pressure, e.g. a rubber &c, expansible tube or bag or a bellows device. A chamber 7 containing siliga gel &c. may be inserted in the conduit 5.
