Abstract

The frame accommodates all fittings, e.g. hinges, casement bolts, and uses the same basic sections for thermal bridging or otherwise, by a simple variation of subsidiary fittings, e.g. non-bridging sections (7 & 8) attaching to mobile (2) and fixed (1) frame sections. These sections (7, 8) can be used to effect a thermal barrier and can be used with non-special base sections. No special preparations are necessary for mounting the sections which can be used internally or externally.
