To attach a flanged nogging bar B to a flanged section rail A one end portion of the bar B slidably engages on one limb 16, 17 of a joining member of substantially L-shaped form, the other limb of which is a leg 18 with (a) terminal flange(s) 19 to bear on the unsheathed flanged portion 7 of the section rail A. The portion 17 is slidable within a bar web 14, a pip 20 being on the portion 16 to limit its movement within the bar B.
