A partition post 1. of hollow square or rectangular cross-section has a spiked fitting 2 at the top, and a similar, but vertically adjustable fitting 8 at the bottom, attached to the post by a bolt 7. H-section cross-members 13, 13' are fixed to the post 1 by brackets 14, 14', and solid or glazed panels, or door panels may be fitted between the cross-members. Cladding strips 18, 18', 18" are clipped on to the posts, and a door, 22, or other end fitting may be attached also. The panels may have rubber strips around their edges.
