Abstract
1,053,876. Greenhouses. R. L. SCARLETT. Oct. 8, 1965 [July 24, 1964], No. 29722/64. Heading E1A. [Also in Division F4] A greenhouse is provided with ventilation flaps 2, 4 arranged to pivot about axes 6, 7 as shown in order to prevent condensation forming on the underside of the roof and adverse cooling of the heating pipes 5. The flaps are operated by the bell-crank lever mechanisms shown. The flap 2 in the apex of the roof may have an extension 20 to prevent ingress of rain or be provided with a canopy 9, 19.
