Abstract

[Also in Division F4] The invention relates to apparatus substantially as described in the parent Specification but the claims are directed to a method of drying polymeric material in an elongated enclosure through which it is advanced for not more than 60 seconds with gradually increasing temperature and at a pressure such that the liquid in the material is not converted to the vapour state until removal from the enclosure produces flash evaporaion of the liquid to expand and rupture the material.
