In a modification of the apparatus disclosed in the parent Specification for straightening lengths of bar-shaped solid or hollow bodies by passing them between tool(s) oscillating in two mutually perpendicular directions, two single arm rocking levers 8, 9, driven by synchronously rotating shafts 4, 5 via eccentric sleeves 6, 7, are coupled together by a movable intermediate support 13 and a straightening head assembly 10 comprising two pairs of straightening rollers 10a is releasably secured to the arm 8 by means 11, 12. Known plug-in type of axles 14-17 are used to mount the rollers in the head and are so arranged that when assembled in a clockwise direction they secure each other in position.
