Abstract

1,051,717. X-ray systems. SIEMENS-REINIGER-WERKE A.G. Aug. 16, 1963 [Aug. 17, 1962], No. 32596/63. Heading H2H. An X-ray system has a synchronous motor-driven timer 28-30, which at determined times reduces the X- ray filament current and voltage to follow approximately the tube load diagram by a sectional switch 31-33, the lower current and voltage ranges being adjustable. At a determined exposure an automatic device 35 cuts-off the tube supply and stops the motor. Alternatively a milliampere-second relay 39 may perform the same function. A circuit (not shown) returns the timer to its starting position. A switch 40-43 enables exposures to be made at a fixed voltage and filament currentsetting.
