1,048,319. Packaging; internal fittings for boxes. TESLA, NARODNI PODNIK. Aug. 23, 1965 [Sept. 1, 1964], No. 36063/65. Headings B8C and B8P. A multi-cell packing for fluorescent light tubes 6, Fig. 3 (not shown), is made from two superimposed moulded plastics plates with each cell of generally circular cross-section but hexagonally shaped at its ends and at a portion intermediate its ends. The hexagonal portions 1, Fig. 3 (not shown), each have an upper recess 2 and a lower projection 3 to facilitate stacking. The portions of generally circular cross-section, Fig. 2 (not shown), are corrugated and support the tubes 6. Slots 5, Fig. 1 (not shown), in the webs joining adjacent cells, facilitate separation of the cells when desired. Plugs 7, Fig. 4 (not shown), are inserted in the free ends of each cell. The moulded plastics plates may be secured together by welding or cementing. The multi-cell packing is contained within an outer box &c.
