Abstract

1,067,954. Containers for fragile articles. NUNC A.S. Aug. 24, 1964, No. 34550/64. Heading B8P. A plastics container for packing fragile cylindrical articles comprises side walls (1), Fig. 1 (not shown), a base and a grid member with mutually perpendicular separating walls (7) which are moulded integrally with one another, the separating walls (7) being provided in each cell with two resilient projections (8). The grid member is slid into position down the grooves between vertical ribs (5) on the side walls of the container. Articles such as pharmaceutical ampoules (9) are held resiliently but firmly in position within a cell when inserted.
