Abstract

[Also in Division B2] A device for spraying roadways particularly with moist salt comprises a centrifugal rotor 15 to which material is fed from a hopper 2 by means of a conveyer 4 comprising discs L mounted on a tube 5, the angle of the discs being adjusable by means of a rack mounted in the tube which co-operates with a cog mounted on a spindle to which each disc is attached. The centrifugal rotor is formed by a truncated conical member provided with an opening 13 and pins 14.
