Abstract

104,711. Bebbington, C. J. March 10, 1916. Drawings to Specification. Optical-projection apparatus.-A screen for kinematograph or other projected pictures, which enables them to be viewed either in daylight or darkness, consists of a transparent or translucent sheet of glass, gelatine, wax paper, &c. with a coating of dull blue material on the side facing the projecting-apparatus. The material is of a density proportional to the intensity of the light. Alternatively, the screen may consist of a sheet of blue celluloid, gelatine, &c., or a coating of paint or pigment enclosed between two glass plates or the like. The screen is used in combination with a projector having a wide-angle lens, so that it may be placed close to the screen, and the pictures are viewed from the side remote from the projector. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 6064/73.
