Abstract

1,046,950. Sliding door tracks. P. C. HENDERSON Ltd. Feb. 2, 1965 [Nov. 13, 1963], No. 44830/63. Heading B7L. In a joint for adjacent sections 10, 11 of a sliding door track of inverted U-shape in crosssection with the marginal edge portions 16, 17 curved inwards to form runway tracks for the wheels of a two- or more wheeled door-carrying trolleys the ends 12, 13, 14 of the mating sections are cut at an oblique angle to the sides of the track, e.g. at 45 degrees, and pieces 16, 17 of curved cross-section are welded to the underside of the runway tracks 12, 13 on one section 11 so as to project therefrom and receive the runway tracks of the other mating section 10. The top of each section is formed adjacent the mating surface with a bolt hole 18, 19 through which bolts may be passed to secure the track to a supporting surface or bracket.
