Abstract

1,046,747. Horns. JOSEPH LUCAS (INDUSTRIES) Ltd. Aug. 12, 1965 [Aug. 28, 1964], No. 35455/64. Heading G5S. During stoving of an enamelled electromagnetic horn of the type shown, air in the horn compartment expands through the liquid enamel and is prevented from re-entering the horn enclosure when the enamel sets; the tuning of the horn is thus affected. The invention avoids this by providing holes in the horn casing through which the air expands and an expansible container sealing the space over the hole. One hole is sealed by a bellows arrangement 25, the other by a resilient annular sleeve.
