Abstract

1,046,309. Charging and discharging batteries; two-part couplings. R. HIRSCHMANN. May 13, 1965 [May 19, 1964], No. 20262/65. Headings H2E and H2H. A battery electric shaver is provided with a locking removable slide 13 which may be exchanged for another slide having pins constructed to a different standard. A spare slide 37 may be clipped into a protective hood 33. The battery and associated rectifier 6 are mounted in a housing 2 separable from the head 1 which carries the motor 4. The pins are riveted or pinned through the slide 13 to form contacts 18, 19 which engage with depressions in leaf-springs 20, 21.
