Abstract

1,045,206. Endless conveyers. ISAAC BRAITHWAITE & SON ENGINEERING Ltd. June 17, 1965 [March 17, 1964], No. 11127/64. Heading B8A. [Also in Division F4] A device for loading a laundry machine comprises an open-topped, trough-shaped container 2 with an open front end 4 and a rear end formed by a plate 6. The base of the container is formed by the upper run of a driven endless belt conveyer 40 supported by rollers 56 and a plate 58. The container 2 is mounted. on supports 18 pivoted at 40 and 20 and its inclination is controlled by the extension of a piston-rod 30 from a cylinder 32 pivoted at 28 and 34 respectively. Work deposited into the container 2 at the rear end 6 is carried towards the open end 4 for discharge into a laundry machine 64, Figs. 3 to 5 (not shown), the inclination of the container 2 being suitably adjusted.
