104,507. Mondolfo, G. Feb. 26, 1916, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Act]. Peat, preparing.-In a treatment of peat for rendering it suitable for fuel, the peat is first pressed and filtered to separate some of the moisture, and then disintegrated. During or before this process, conglomerating-materials may be added, which may be suitably chosen to increase the heating-power of the peat. It is again pressed and then cut to the required shape and size and dried in a chamber at a temperature not exceeding 60‹ C.
