Abstract

1,039,662. Confectionery apparatus. BAKER PERKINS Ltd. April 15, 1965 [April 23, 1964], No. 16876/64. Heading A2B. In an apparatus comprising a continuous cooker from which toffee caramel or high boiled sugar is discharged on to a conveyer band having side walls, there is provided between the cooker and the band a shoot whic his so moved in relation to the band that the stream of confectionery is distributed over the width of the band in a layer of substantially uniform depth. Preferably the shoot oscillates to and fro across the full width of the band. A levelling blade may be positioned beyond the shoot over the band.
