Abstract

1314303 Meat cubes FRIGOSCANDIA CONTRACTING AB 23 Sept 1971 [30 Sept 1970] 44410/71 Heading F4H Apparatus for producing frozen meat cubes, hamburgers &c., comprises a freezing device for reducing the temperature of the tubes to about - 30‹ C., and a glazing device, arranged after the freezing device, in which cold water is sprayed on to the cubes freezing to form a glazing on the surfaces of the cubes. The glazing device comprises an inclined, perforated vibrating table 1, above and below which cold water nozzles 2 are disposed. The table 1 is arranged to carry the cubes and to impart to them a tumbling movement so that the surfaces of the cubes get an unbroken glaze and the cubes are prevented from freezing together.
