Abstract

1,039,270. Two part couplings. SOSS MANUFACTURING CO. April 7, 1965 [Feb. 9, 1965], No. 14695/65. Heading H2E. [Also in Division G1] In a multirange electric meter (see Division G1) there are a plurality of input terminals 109 to 114 and the separable input leads 115a carry plugs 115 which fit these terminals. One of the terminals 109, is associated with a switch 119 which is closed whenever a plug 115 is in position as shown. If a connection between the two closely spaced terminals 109 and 110 is required, an alternative two-way plug 116 (Fig. 1B, not shown), can make both connections.
