Abstract
1,038,419. Nuclear power plant. UNITED KINGDOM ATOMIC ENERGY AUTHORITY. Aug. 20, 1965 [Aug. 27, 1964], No. 35242/64. Heading G6C. In a nuclear reactor power plant, the reactors are cooled by gas circulated by blowers driven by steam turbines. The latter are supplied with steam from the main turbine supply and exhaust back into the main system through a desalination plant. In one embodiment, the blower turbines are supplied from the H.P. turbine exhaust while a second arrangement the I.P. exhaust is employed.
