1,037,512. Invalid-lifting trolleys. D. I. CAMPBELL. Jan. 28, 1963 [Oct. 26, 1961], No. 38320/61. Heading B8H. A trolley for transporting a stretcher comprises a U-shaped frame 1, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B supported on castors 5-8 by a pair of adjustable X-linkages 9, 10, controlled by hand levers 13. The arms 3A, 3B are formed with grooves 4 for receiving recessed portions of the stretcher poles. In a modification (not shown), the arms 3A, 3B are carried by telescopic supports whereby the arms may each be raised and lowered independently.
