Abstract

1,036,760. Expansible bracelets. TEXTRON Inc. April 14, 1965 [June 30, 1964], No. 15911/65. Heading A3H. An expansible bracelet comprises two layers of interconnected staggered links and superimposed blade springs within the links. The bracelet comprises upper and lower links 4, 5 connected by pairs of U-shaped connecting members 8. Arcuate blade springs 13, 14 within the links have end bends 15, 16 contacting the legs of the connecting members. The upper link 4 is covered by an ornamented shell 11 secured by lateral tabs which are bent to engage in slots in the bottom surface of the link. The bends of the blade springs may engage in notches in the connecting members.
