Abstract

1,035,758. Brushes. OSBORN MANUFACTURING CO. June 22, 1965 [July 17, 1964], No. 26395/65. Heading A4K. A rotary power brush usable on different sizes of shaft has bristle material 2 packed within and extending outwardly from a circular channel shaped brush back 3 with a radially inwardly extending reinforcing flange 3<SP>1</SP> and central opening 4, the flange having a plurality of diametrically opposed keyways or slots 5 which can be engaged by prongs on plates A forming adapter means for mounting the brush on a shaft, the prongs engaging openings in the opposite plate with a snap fit.
