[Also in Division B5] A dimensionally stabilized foam material suitable for use in upholstery comprises a framework of elastically bonded random fibres, embedded in a body of foamed polyurethene, the surface of the material thus formed being covered by a layer made from foam scrap and a thermoplastic binding agent. The foam scrap may be rubber or polyurethene and the layer may be preformed and then bonded to the material or may be bonded to the material during the forming of the polyurethane.
