Abstract
A nickel base alloy comprises:- .Cr.11-13% .Co.19-21% .Mo.4-6% .Al.5-6% .Ti.3-4% .C.0.1-0.6% the balance being nickel, the alloy having been vacuum melted during its preparation. The carbon content may be replaced partly by boron i.e. <TABS:1034603/C6-C7/1> The alloy may be solution heat treated at 1150 DEG C. followed by water quenching.
