Abstract

[Also in Division H1] In an evaporation cooling system for an electron discharge tube (see Division H1), the vaporizable fluid in boiler 10d may be cooled by a secondary fluid, e.g. water, circulated through a heat-exchange coil 24. A thermostat-controlled valve 32 at the outlet from coil 24 provides a source of constant temperature hot water which may be used for space-heating.
