103,039. Mackenzie, J. W., (Cleveland Galvanizing Works Co.). March 17, 1916. Wire-link chains. -In chain links of the kind formed of lengths of wire first bent to form two loops 3 as shown in Fig. 2, and then doubled to bring the loops together as shown in Fig. 13, the ends of the wire being bent to form an eye at the folded end of the link, the ends 2 of the wire are offset and crossed as shown, so 'as to prevent the sides of the links from separating under tension.
