Abstract
The invention comprises compounds of the formula <FORM:1028801/C2/1> and acid addition salts thereof in which one of the symbols Ra and Rb is C1-7 alkyl and the other is H or C1-7-alkyl and each of the symbols R1 and R11 is H or C1-7-alkyl and the preparation thereof by reacting an amine of the formula <FORM:1028801/C2/2> or a salt thereof with an S-alkyl isothiourea of the formula <FORM:1028801/C2/3> wherein R0 is C1- 7 alkyl, or an acid addition salt thereof and, if desired, converting the resulting salt into the free compound or into another salt, and/or, if desired, converting a free compound into a salt thereof. Pharmaceutical compositions comprise the compounds of the invention in admixture or in conjunction with a pharmaceutically suitable carrier and may be in the form of capsules, tablets, dragees, solutions, suspensions or emulsions. The compositions are hypoglycemic and antihypertensive agents.
