Abstract

102,785. Bourke, A. M. May 13, 1916. Supporting.-Relates to light projectors secured to small arms, such as are described in Specification 1002/11 and consists in the combination of a fixed cylindrical body part V adapted to carry a lamp A and provided with means for attaching it to a gun, an inner rotary tube W, and an outer sliding non- rotary tube X carrying a lens Z' and connected to the gun. The body part V is connected to the gun by a dove-tailed lug V<1> engaging a groove F<1> in a block F fixed to the gun and locked by a spring catch G. The block F is provided with a spring contact E<x>. The sliding tube X is also connected to the gun by a dovetailed lug Y<1> sliding in a groove M<1> in a block M and engaging a contact Jx, which is pressed axially by a spring J so as to make a constant electric connexion.
