Abstract

1,026,245. Heat storing apparatus. ATELIERS DE CONSTRUCTIONS ELECTRIQUES DE CHARLEROI (ACEC). Oct. 20, 1964 [Oct. 21, 1963], No. 42755/64. Heading F4U. The core of an electrical storage heater is built up from identical refractory bricks 1-6 arranged to form air circulation ducts 7-10, each of which accommodates a sheathed resistance heating element, Fig. 2 (not shown). At each end of the core the duets open into air admission and distribution chambers (shown dotted) formed from bricks similar to those of the core, one chamber including a thermallyinsulated plate 13 on which the heating elements are mounted.
