Abstract

1,026,200. Piggeries. H. BIEHL. Jan. 17, 1964 [April 2, 1963], No. 2210/64. Heading E1A. A piggery comprises an enclosed structure internally divided into pens by partitions 41 permitting a free circulation of air, or access passageway along one side of the pens, see Fig. 1 (not shown), and a dung removal channel 25 along the other side thereof, each pen sloping towards the channel and being cleansed by a rinsing pipe 26 extending along the passageway. Feed troughs 36 having trickle water supply pipes 37 and hinged access screws 46 are also provided.
