A connector for wooden framing includes a pair of metallic plates 13, 14 connected by bolts 15, each plate 14 having a flange 16 by which members 17, 18 can be pivotally connected to an intermediate member 10 by means of a connector 19 which includes a pair of spaced plates 20, 21 connected by bolts 23 and nuts 25 the plates carrying groups of pyramidal teeth 29 which penetrate the wood fibre.
