947,752. Cable troughs. ELECTROVERT Ltd. March 6, 1962 [April 27, 1961], No. 8596/62. Heading H2C. Cable troughs which may be fitted end to end consist of side channel members 2, 3 spaced by rungs 4 and provided with wedges 13, each of which is welded, riveted or bolted to the channel base with its wide end projecting. The two channels to be joined are brought into engagement and a further wedge is then inserted between the first wedge and the opposite channel groove and hammered into place. The abutting faces of the two wedges may be serrated or faced with an adhesive or abrasive or a pressure-curable polymer resin.
