Abstract

1,024,525. Coupling members. POWER CENTRE CO. Ltd. Jan. 27, 1965 [Feb. 1, 1964], No. 4395/64. Heading H2E. Connection is made to aluminium conductor 20, Fig. 4, by forcing against it a harder (brass) member 10 having continuous inner and outer circular ridges with at least one ridge between them which need not be continuous. The ridges bite into the aluminium and oxidation of the aluminium in contact with the inner and outer ridges is said to provide a seal and prevent oxidation of the aluminium in contact with the inner ridge(s).
