[Also in Division C1] A nuclear reactor liquid radio -activity monitor is formed of a series of open containers which are filled with the liquid, brought beneath a Geiger-Muller counter and then emptied in sequence. The containers are formed as segmental compartments in a circular tank separated by radially extending walls. The tank is rotated about the vertical control axis by a motor and the containers are emptied through valves cam-operated during rotation of the tank. The radio-active liquid is admitted to an empty container through a perforated pipe.
