A ventilator for the top of a domed or arched tent comprises a flexible double-walled tube A formed from two cylinders of coated fabric, one inside the other, and joined at their ends by tabs. Nylon rings K separate the tube walls, and the outer wall is peripherally pleated at intervals corresponding with the spacing of the rings. A rectangular patch S is sewn to the inside of the tent, with an aperture in it corresponding to the base of the ventilator. This aperture can be covered by a rectangular flap R, operable by pull-cords, e.g. V, hanging down inside the tent.
