1,021,676. Dispensing liquid paint. CARSON PARIPAN Ltd. June 24, 1964 [June 24, 1963], No. 25041/63. Heading A4T. A machine for dispensing liquid paint colourants in measured quantities has a number of reservoirs mounted in a circle on a rotory carrier 2 each symmetrical about a centre line and having a stirrer with paddles 16 reaching to the bottom of the reservoir and having a vertical shaft 15 extending along th centre line, the shaft 15 being supported in bearings 18 at the bottom of the reservoir and in a cover 19 at the top and being driven from a driving wheel 20 connected to the shaft by a detachable coupling consisting of a pronged fork 26 on a stub shaft 21 mounted on a bracket hinged by a hinge 22 which fork engages a cross pin 27 on shaft 15, the hinging of the bracket allowing the driving pulley 20 to be detached and swing out of the way to permit removal of cover 19 for replenishment of the reservoir.
